Each year, Florida grows more attractive—not just for tourism but also for business. High-quality companies are quickly setting up operations, bringing with them skilled professionals. International chambers of commerce are taking full advantage of this trend, led by the Canada-Florida Chamber of Commerce (CCCF).

“We have a significant number of Canadian tech companies contacting us for information about setting up operations or exporting to Florida,” confirms Karine Martinez, the CCCF's director. “This isn’t new; they’ve always been part of our trade missions, but last year we gained many new members in this sector. While we won’t organize another mission in Florida until 2026, Espresso V Corp (Sébastien Leduc)  is organizing one independently.”

And for Sébastien Leduc, what is the advantage of entering the U.S. market? “It’s the best market for selling technology in terms of purchasing power and volume. Then there are physical reasons (it’s right next door) and cultural ones. To develop a new market, you need to be there regularly. Additionally, Canada has excellent engineering, and when selling it here, you can benefit from the favorable exchange rate for exporters.”
